This blog originally started focusing on the two good friends travelling together, Bex and Bec – The Beckspackers. We met volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa and were offered work to come back as project leaders on the program.

After the first month of being here Bec was offered a promotion at her work, which is absolutely fantastic for her, i couldn’t be more proud and happy for her. With this promotion in mind she left the program, which made the blog posts a little more difficult to write, please accept our greatest apologises.. i mean it is called the Beckspackers, a blog based around the story of our friendship, working and travelling together. Bec will always be a close friend in my life and i miss here everyday, however after discussion and some thought we decided that it would be best to go on solo with the blog.

The new direction takes the same path, still two people talking and talking about experiences at the wildlife farm that i currently still work at as well as other travelling experiences. However instead of talking with Bec it will now be with people that i meet and work with along the way.

Bec will always be a great friend, i wish her all the luck in the world – but the travel bug has taken a good hold of me and I’m back on track ready to share all these wonderful experiences with you all.
